However, i was able to add a different card (US Bank) there. I then couldn't add the same Chase card to. So i went to, and removed the card from there, thinking that would help. Even though all the googling i did for that issue, says it should be. Google also made me realize my new device is apparently "not certified" by Google Play Protect or whatever it is. I did some googling, and after uninstalling Gpay, restarting my phone, clearing app cache, and data, rinse and repeat, nothing was working.
The device is a bought at the carrier, NIB, Samsung Galaxy A13 that i bought less than two weeks ago. And i was unable to get it to set up for contactless because Gpay was telling me my device was "rooted, or otherwise altered" even though it was working fine on Friday, and i don't even know what rooting or unrooting means. So today, after uploading my vax digital card to Gpay, i noticed that the chase credit card i had been using for GPay for a while now said, "not set up for contactless" or something along those lines.
